What to do for New Year’s Eve in Downtown Aurora

NYE w/ Dabylon is reggae meet ska meet a great freakin’ band to ring in the New Year! $10 Admission includes Champagne toast and party favors.

Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 Broadway

7 p.m.

Ring in the New Year at Two Brothers Roundhouse for their New Year’s Eve bash and ring in 2017 with a Two Brothers’ beer in hand. This year’s party starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 with DJ Jayrock spinning favorites from the 70’s through today. With video and vinyl mixing skills- DJ Jayrock keeps you dancing all night long. Tickets are currently on sale for $60.00 plus tax.

La Quinta de los Reyes, 36 E. New York St.

8 p.m.

Stop by La Quinta along the Fox River in downtown Aurora for a balloon drop, free champagne, party favors, live countdown on the screens, and more.

Enjoy live mariachi playing all night in the restaurant. All ages.

Upstairs starting at 9 p.m., DJs include: DJ Infinity, DJ Retro, DJ Bobby, and DJ Kaboom. 21 plus only. Dress to impress.

SciTech Hands On Museum

10 a.m.

Bring the whole family and celebrate New Year’s with the kids at SciTech’s annual Noon Year’s Eve Party. $12 admission (children 3 and under are free) includes snacks, sparking cider, party favors, hands-on activity, dance party and a balloon drop at noon. Science show at 12:30 p.m. Museum is open from 10 a.m until 4 p.m.

Hollywood Casino, 1 W. New York St.

5 p.m.

If you’re not a night owl, then consider starting your party early with Shout Section performing big band and swing tunes at the casino from 5 to 9 p.m. If you prefer a later shindig, then you can ring in the New Year with Hi Infidelity covering ’80s rock starting at 10 p.m.
