STEAM Sunday comes to SciTech

SciTech will kick-off the fall season with a preview of our new STARLAB® for the first ever STEAM Sunday at SciTech Hands On Museum, September 18, 2016.

As part of a strategic initiative to extend weekend hours for Fox Valley

families, SciTech will kick-off the fall season with a preview of our new STARLAB for the

first ever STEAM Sunday at SciTech Hands On Museum on September 18, 2016. The

monthly event will be open to the public and held on the 3rd Sunday of the month from

12pm – 5pm.

As part of this initiative SciTech has also extended its Saturday hours and is now open

10am – 4pm during Downtown Saturdays.

All educators will receive free admission on September 18th with a current 2016-2017

school employee ID to see how the NEW Digital STARLAB® can enhance their current

science curriculum. This offer includes one FREE Admission per school employee.

The STARLAB® will be set up on SciTech’s main level and the lower level of the

museum will be open for exploration (The main level and upper level will be closed for

the day).

STARLAB® is a portable planetarium that can travel to your school or special event

year-round.This is a great opportunity to get an in-depth look at the night sky and learn

more about our solar system. More information is available at

STEAM Sundays are an opportunity to engage your family in fun STEAM learning

opportunities at SciTech Hands On Museum on the third Sunday of every month. Our

monthly themes explore a different core science, technology, engineering, art or

mathematics concept that coordinates with our Super SciTech Saturdays.

Admission to the monthly feature includes show times at 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and

3:30pm.

Free for children ages 3 years and younger
