April 28, 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Help Plant Aurora's Riverbanks Project On Saturday, July 30, 2005, nearly 80 volunteers helped plant 2,000 water willows in the east channel of the Fox River, from New York Street north to Illinois Avenue. "Help Plant Aurora's Riverbanks," a habitat restoration project, is a partnership of organizations including Anheuser-Busch, the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Aurora Downtown, the City of Aurora, the Conservation Foundation, Fox Valley Park District, Friends of the Fox, the Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Hesed House, Hollywood Casino Aurora, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Johno's Main Surplus, Kaye Mason, Budget Finance, National City Bank, the Pigeon Hill Paddlers, SciTech, the Sierra Club, and Superior Beverage Company.
