I was born an artist in the early 60's. As a child I loved to draw and design outfits for my dolls. I also excelled in school in my art classes. However, as time went on my direction changed and I became employed in the business industry as an administrative support person. It was over 20 years later that I found myself returning to my first love of art when coincidentally I was downsized from my job in May 2000. So, it was during that time that I decided to return to school for graphic design and digital art. Accordingly, I received my AAS Degree from Moraine Valley Community College with honors in 2002. I have also attended several local art workshops and classes in the Chicago area.
Above all, I feel that my love for painting flows from a wellspring in my soul. And, I believe God has gifted me as an artist to create provocative, spiritually inspiring works stemming from my compassion for humanity and my passion for spiritual discernment. I love to use oils and acrylics in my work, particularly acrylics because they are so forgiving. I have yet to arrive at my divine destiny as an artist. Therefore, I invite you to follow me as I grow in creativity, vision, and wisdom.
