My work is a special blend of photography and art. Nature, the cornerstone of creation, is my inspiration for artistic expressions, tempered with Druidic wisdom. What I do is take the beauty of nature and mystify it through color, shape and form. My continuing adventure through photography and art stems from my constant need to explore new creative ways to transcend traditional viewpoints and open peoples’ minds to alternative ideas.
I grew up in a small town in Illinois where I was able to get away from town life and explore what nature had to offer at a very early age. I was influenced by Native American culture, and through those influences able to cultivate my appreciation and understanding of nature. Through these influences I developed my unique views of nature through photography and later in life, grow to express them through different artistic avenues. I have suffered through severe eye traumas during recent years and although it is an unfortunate event, I have grown stronger in my beliefs and desires.
Due to this event in my life, I have realized something, which continues to fuel my desire to express myself and share my unique abilities with others.
Realization is the mind’s eye: it has the ultimate ability to capture the imagination, free it from the confines of traditionalism and enable it to embrace the concept of beauty in its originality.
