Riverfront Playhouse Presents Wait Until Dark this Summer

The show will run Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 beginning July 26th – Aug 31st. The Play was written by Fredrick Knott and is probably best known for the movie by the same title staring Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin.

A sinister con man [Roat] and two ex-convicts [Mike and Carlino] have traced the location of a mysterious doll, which they are much interested in, to the apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. Sam had apparently been persuaded by a strange woman to transport the doll across the border, not knowing that sewn inside is something of great value. It escalates into a deadly game of cat and mouse between Susy and Roat. Susy knows the only way to play fair is by her rules, so when darkness falls she turns off all the lights leaving both of them to maneuver in the dark until the game ends.

Tickets are $17.00 for adults and $15.00 for seniors and students.
Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling (630) 897-9496.
