26 Days/26 Artists
If These Walls Could Talk and Rotten Apple Comics have once again teamed up for 26 Days/26 Artists, a month of art in downtown Aurora. The goal of the project is to create dialogue between artists.
Local artists were asked to pick one of twenty six days in the month of April to do some LIVE creating on the front stage of the If These Walls Could Talk (ITWCT) gallery. Artists have FOUR hours to do their creating and whatever they finish will go on display as part of the May First Fridays exhibit at If These Walls Could Talk (opening on May 1) While creating, there will a camera chronicling the creative process with the resulting video/images running on the television at the gallery and on the ITWCT website.
Artists are creating during the day and starting between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and sometimes going until the gallery closes at 7 p.m.
26 Days/26 Artists is an opportunity for the public to witness the artistic process. The public is welcome to stop by during April and watch the artists.
ITWCT is open Tuesday through Sunday at 32 S. Stolp Ave. in downtown Aurora.
