Fly High with “Boeing Boeing” at The Riverfront Playhouse...

The Riverfront Playhouse soars into 2016 with its new production of Boeing Boeing which runs Jan 15 through Feb 20 on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm. Winner of the both the Tony Award for Best Revival of a play as well as the Drama Desk award for Outstanding Revival of a Play in 2008 this comedy is sure to have you rolling in the aisles. Bernard is an American bachelor in Paris who believes in “flying the friendly skies” and he couldn’t be happier in life.  After all, he has a spacious flat in Paris and three gorgeous flight attendants all engaged to him each not knowing about the others.  With careful attention to flight schedules Bernard has successfully managed to keep it so that only one fiance is in town at a time. Bernard’s life is about to experience some mid air turbulence and things get a little bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay with him and the airlines begin using Boeing‘s newest and faster plane causing all the girls “layovers” to begin to overlap. Attempting to keep his little secret Bernard does the logical thing and lies to all the girls dragging Robert into his grand scheme. However Robert keeps forgetting which lies to tell to whom and catastrophe looms. Boeing Boeing is piloted by Captain Gene Scheffler (Director) and his Co-Pilot Lynn Knauf (Assistant Director) and features the talents of Brian Lefevre as Bernard, Aaron Hoge as Robert, and Kristen Duerdoth as Berthe.  Your flight attendants for this high flying comedy are Beth Goncher as Gloria, Ali Lanthrum as Gretchen, and Katrina Syrris as Gabriella. Boeing Boeing is wildly funny!  It’s a great night of theater and the doldrums of winter. Be sure to book your ticket today for this high soaring comedy! Tickets are $17 for adults and $15 for students...
